About Alubend Vietnam
Alubend Vietnam is a newly established, high-precision metal forming and fabrication company specializing in complex aluminum bending, forming, and finishing for the architectural, automotive, and aerospace industries.
We are part of the Alubend Group, an international network with operations in the UK, USA, and Vietnam, known for delivering precision-formed aluminum components to global clients. Our Vietnam facility brings advanced forming, machining, and finishing capabilities to Southeast Asia, supporting both prototype development and high-volume production.
The Vietnam site will adapt and localize Alubend UK's ISO-certified Quality Management System to ensure consistency and compliance from the start. Our immediate objective is to establish full ISO 9001 compliance, building a strong foundation for future certification under AS9100 (aerospace) and IATF automotive).

Job description
1. Quality System Management and Compliance (ISO 9001)
• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Alubend Vietnam's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards, initially adapted from the Alubend UK framework.
• Define, document, and enforce quality policies, standards, and procedures across all operational stages — from raw material inspection to final shipment.
• Manage and conduct internal audits and act as the company's primary representative during external audits (ISO and customer audits).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, CAPA) to improve process consistency and efficiency.
• Lead the phased roadmap toward future certification.
2. Advanced Quality Planning and Documentation
• Lead implementation of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and FAI (First Article Inspection) for aluminum parts supplied to automotive and aerospace clients.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive dimensional reports and quality records, ensuring traceability and compliance.
• Control and maintain all calibration records, NCRs, and preventive action documentation.
3. Quality Control and Testing Operations
• Manage and supervise NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) activities, including LPI, UT, and hard testing, ensuring full compliance with technical standards.
• Provide expert support for welding, machining, and forming processes to maintain product integrity and specification conformance.
• Support process validation and qualification for new projects and production lines.
4. Client Communication and Team Leadership
• Act as the primary quality interface with international clients (US, UK, Europe), managing audits, documentation, and quality issue resolution.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Control team, promoting a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Job requirements
1. Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering (or related technical field).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management or Senior Quality Engineering roles within the automotive or aerospace sectors.
• Proven experience establishing and maintaining ISO 9001 systems; familiarity with AS9100 or IATF 16949 is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience with aluminum manufacturing processes, including extrusion, machining, and surface finishing.
2. Technical and Process Skills
• Proficiency in PPAP, FAI, and control plan documentation.
• Experience with CMM operation/programming and data interpretation.
• Competence in NDT methods (LPI, UT, hardness testing) and technical report generation.
• Solid understanding of process validation, root cause analysis, and supplier quality control.
3. Soft Skills and Language
• Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and consistency in documentation.
• Capable of collaborating effectively with international teams.
