SENIOR FINANCIAL SPECIALIST (PROJECT COMPANY)

INTRODUCTION

The Senior Financial Specialist (Project Company) will be responsible for overseeing financial management, planning, and reporting activities for project-based operations. This role ensures financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all stages of project execution — from budgeting and funding to cost tracking and performance analysis. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with project managers, operations, and corporate finance teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgets, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare financial projections to support strategic and operational decisions.

2. Project Accounting & Reporting

  • Track project revenues, costs, and margins; reconcile financial data across departments.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and investors.

3. Cash Flow & Funding Management

  • Manage project cash flow planning, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.
  • Coordinate with banks, lenders, and internal treasury for disbursements.
  • Monitor loan agreements, interest payments, and funding schedules.

4. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards (IFRS/VAS), and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing required documentation and analysis.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets.

5. Cross-functional Support

  • Partner with project management, procurement, and operations teams to provide financial insights.
  • Support decision-making on project bids, investments, and cost optimization.
  • Contribute to process improvements in financial reporting and control systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS


• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Auditing, or related fields.


• Over 5 years of working experience, with at least 2 years in a similar position.


• Experience in real estate industry is an advantage


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to read and understand specialized documents in English is an advantage.


• Able to work under high pressure.
