Position Overview

We're looking for a Backend Developer ) to join our engineering team and support the development of backend services for real client projects. You'll work closely with co-worker engineers to build scalable APIs, contribute to production-grade features using NestJS, and gain exposure to AWS Serverless environments. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to deepen their backend skills in a fast-moving, client-facing setting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to client-facing backend projects using NestJS (modules, controllers, services, DTOs)
• Assist with database tasks using TypeORM or Prisma (data modeling, migrations, queries)
• Support REST or GraphQL API development
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and work within AWS Serverless environments (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Join design review sessions focused on architectural feedback
• Document APIs, project structure, and technical decisions for internal use
• Communicate with project managers and, when needed, directly with clients to clarify scopes and requirements

Your skills and experience
Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, and hands-on experience with NestJS
• Basic knowledge of relational or non-relational databases and ORM tools
• Experience with Git and GitHub (branching, pull requests)
• Analytical mindset and strong sense of ownership
• Able to communicate technical details clearly in written English
• Must be able to work full-time and can work full-time upon offered with full-time job

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using TypeORM or Prisma for schema and migration work
• Familiarity with AWS Serverless tools (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Exposure to Docker or other container-based development tools
• Understanding of authentication methods like JWT or OAuth
