Report To: Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor

Salary Package: 20 mil VND (Gross) & Allowance: 6.2 mil VND & 13th month salary

Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer will serve as the primary local support contact for manufacturing, quality, and supply-related concerns with all contract manufacturers and component suppliers in Vietnam. This role requires applying both technical knowledge and business understanding to support activities such as new product launches, quality improvement, supply chain execution, and production cost reduction.

Qualifications Education & Experience

  • Completed post-secondary (college or university) program in electronics or mechanical engineering.
  • 2+ years electronics manufacturing working experience.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Hands-on experience in SolidWorks, mechanical assembly fixture design and plastic injection molding design or process control

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary local support contact for manufacturing, quality, and supply-related issues with contract manufacturers and component suppliers in Vietnam.
  • Proactively build and maintain supplier relationships; anticipate customer needs and provide solutions with high priority on satisfaction.
  • Lead the implementation of best manufacturing practices and system integration projects.
  • Support supplier project teams by planning, organizing, and developing implementation strategies; mentor individuals and help resolve project issues.
  • Serve as liaison between supplier teams, onsite management, MultiTech production teams, and Toronto management.
  • Develop detailed designs, implement, troubleshoot, and test solutions following Quality Management Standards.
  • Prepare documentation, including manufacturing requirement documents.
  • Improve processes, procedures, and tools used in project execution.
  • Provide weekly/monthly productivity and performance reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor.
  • Deliver onsite technical support for process validation activities to ensure smooth production transitions.
  • Adhere to all vendor policies and procedures when working at supplier facilities.

Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge/background in PCBs is an asset.
