Responsibilities:
Merchandise & Assortment Strategy
Drive merchandise and assortment strategies across seasons, customer segments, regions, and market trends.
- Lead product lifecycle management, making decisions on launches, extensions, and phase-outs based on performance and consumer insights.
- Shape new product development aligned with brand positioning, growth strategies, and market opportunities.
- Research consumer behavior and track jewelry/fashion trends locally and internationally.
- Translate customer insights into assortment planning and product positioning strategies.
- Monitor sales performance, inventory turnover, and profitability across product lines.
Recommend portfolio enhancements and commercial strategies backed by data analysis.
Pricing Strategy
Develop and implement pricing strategies for categories and product lines aligned with brand positioning and financial objectives.
- Analyze competition, price elasticity, and consumer behavior to define optimal pricing across segments and channels.
Partner with Finance to adjust pricing policies and promotional schemes to maximize competitiveness and profitability.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop a team of category and product development specialists.
Build a culture of innovation, strategic thinking, and analytical excellence within the team.
Cross-functional Projects & Operations
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver new product and business initiatives.
- Oversee processes, guide project members, and resolve operational challenges.
- Report progress and ensure accountability for assigned deliverables.
- Coordinate project members under delegated authority from senior management.
- Perform other tasks as required by direct manager.

Relevant Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product portfolio management, product development, or merchandising within retail, jewelry, fashion, or FMCG industries.
- Proven experience in developing product pricing strategies.
- Strong background in market research and data analysis.
- Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and decision-making ability.
- Excellent communication, project coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in premium/luxury brand environments is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/SAP systems; experience with Power BI is a plus.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Solid financial analysis skills, including P&L management.
- Effective planning, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Capability to train, coach, and develop team members.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/SAP systems; experience with Power BI is a plus.
