The General Accountant plays a vital role in the financial operations of the company, ensuring the accurate recording of transactions, compliance with tax regulations, and preparation of financial reports. This position supports financial decision-making by maintaining organized accounts, preparing tax declarations, and assisting in monthly and yearly closings. The role also involves liaising with relevant authorities, managing AR-related documents, and handling ad-hoc

How You Can Contribute
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are posting
  • Invoices/ receipts: Print, store hard copy & upload soft copy to Drive
  • Update accounts payable/ receivable and performs reconciliations
  • Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
  • Assist Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
  • Prepare VAS financial statement reports, Company income tax, PIT finalization
  • Declaration report, monthly VAT & PIT report
  • Check PIT, VAT, WHT reports to ensure the correct calculation & tax law application
  • Prepare draft sales contract and other relevant documents related to AR activities
  • Provide tax planning services with reference to current legislation
  • Be responsible for all reporting related to finance/accounting to relevant authorities and parent company
  • Involve in ad-hoc accounting /admin assignments as and when required.
  • Other Ad hoc works as requested by management.
What You Need To Maximize Your Contribution
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Accountant roles
  • Familiar with Vietnamese tax and regulation
  • Able to use English well in both written & communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to financial management and problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities with limited supervision
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle ad hoc tasks efficiently.
