Are you ready to lead an iconic property in the heart of Hanoi, where culture, tradition, and modern luxury converge? As Director of Sales of Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake, you will helm a team of exceptional professionals dedicated to delivering the legendary Four Seasons experience.

About the Role

As Director of Sales for Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake, you will be a senior leader within the Commercial team, reporting to the Commercial Director. You will lead a high-performing Sales Team across leisure, corporate, group and government segments, building trusted client relationships, creating new demand, and converting business that maximises revenue, market share and profitability. You will partner closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations and Operations to deliver seamless group and VIP experiences that reflect Four Seasons service standards.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the Sales Team: Set clear goals, coach performance, and manage day-to-day activities to achieve annual revenue targets and KPIs.

  • Own the Sales Strategy: Develop and execute segment strategies and account plans aligned to the hotel's Commercial Plan, including budgeting, goal setting and market deployment.

  • Win New Business: Proactively prospect untapped markets and source new accounts; conduct sales calls, roadshows and international trips as required.

  • Grow Key Accounts: Lead senior negotiations, build executive-level relationships, and increase share from strategic accounts across leisure, corporate and MICE.

  • Elevate Conversion: Oversee enquiry management and pipeline discipline, ensuring timely proposals, professional site inspections, and effective familiarisation programmes.

  • Partner for Total Revenue: Collaborate with Revenue Management, Catering, F&B, Spa and Rooms to optimise pricing, inventory, space utilisation and cross-selling.

  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, demand drivers and booking windows; share insights and actions in weekly and month-end reviews.

  • Forecasting and Reporting: Produce accurate segment forecasts, month-end analyses and tangible action plans to close gaps and seize opportunities.

  • Represent the Hotel: Showcase the property at trade shows, sales missions and client events; host client entertainment in line with company guidelines.

  • Develop Talent: Recruit, onboard and grow sales talent; provide regular feedback, IDPs and, where needed, performance improvement plans.

  • Standards and Systems: Champion GS&C and CRM discipline; ensure data quality, contract accuracy and timely compliance with company policies.

  • Guest and Group Excellence: Coordinate with Operations and Conference Services to deliver flawless programmes; lead service recovery for sales-related issues.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years in a Director of Sales role, or 5-7 years of progressive sales leadership within luxury hospitality with a proven revenue track record.

  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in account management, new business development, negotiations and pipeline management.

  • Demonstrated success across multiple segments, including corporate, leisure and groups, with confidence engaging senior client stakeholders.

  • Advanced skills with sales systems and tools; working knowledge of Delphi and Opera preferred, plus strong Microsoft Office proficiency.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluency in English required.

  • Organised, data-driven and resilient, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment and travel as business needs require.
