Service Engineer cum Trainer

Location:
Nguyen Thi Nhung, Hiep Binh, Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh

Working time:
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Mon - Fri), 10 AM - 3 PM (Saturday)

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs for customers, focusing on the installation, operation, and maintenance of inverters.
  • Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and videos, to support the learning process.
  • Regularly update training content to reflect the latest product developments, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Lead training sessions, workshops, seminars and webinars for customers, both in-person and online.
  • Demonstrate the proper use and maintenance of inverters through hands-on training and practical exercises.
  • Assess participants' understanding and proficiency through evaluations and feedback.
  • Perform varying corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for solar PV systems.
  • Interact with customers on a professional level as part of a multi-tasking team.
  • Perform onsite installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Check and provide complete documentation to clients.
  • Carry out site root analysis.
  • Attend the conference and B2B meetings to assess new solar PV system technologies as part of a team.
  • Apply root cause analysis techniques on all major and recurring faults.
  • Investigate technical failures and prepare formal technical reports.
  • Record keeping and management of spare part movements.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to customers
  • Submission of daily work reports in Excel format to the reporting supervisor is
  • mandatory.
  • Someone with strong operations experience will be an added advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related technical field.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in the solar industry (preferred).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Willing to travel for business trips when required.
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken).
