About the role

We're looking for a Data Analyst (Contractor) to join our Vietnam Data Analytics Team and work closely with consumer product squads. You will play a critical role in helping the team understand user behavior, identify opportunities, measure product performance, and guide decision-making through rigorous analysis. Your work will directly influence the development of innovative solutions that help people find and secure their next home with speed, certainty, and ease.

This role is based in PropertyGuru's office in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, and reports to the Data Analytics Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate product and business questions into structured analysis plans; collect, clean, and analyze data using SQL and visualization tools.
  • Design and maintain dashboards that track product health, usage patterns, funnel conversion, and key consumer KPIs.
  • Support experimentation (e.g., A/B tests) by defining success metrics, analyzing results, and guiding product decisions based on statistical significance and business impact.
  • Work with the central data team to ensure proper event tracking, data governance, and schema alignment.
  • Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through storytelling, visuals, and actionable recommendations.

Requirements Required

  • Strong SQL skills are a must. You'll be expected to write custom queries using BigQuery to support analysis and test product hypotheses.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You should be able to go beyond reporting what's happening to explain why it's happening and what to do next.
  • Ability to build clear, simple dashboards and presentations. We use Looker for reporting and data visualization.
  • Good to have: 1–2 years of industry experience working with large-scale datasets; and experience with Google Analytics (GA4) is a plus.
