Position: Primary School Teacher Working Location: True North School, Lot TH-03, Mo Lao Urban Area, Ha Dong, Hanoi POSITION OVERVIEW Primary School Teacher has a critical contribution to the development and enhancement of the teaching quality and the student experience following True North Schools pillars of excellence and philosophy. You will also manage the classs effectiveness, safety and related issues at the school. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Prepare and develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives;Prepare classroom and course materials and maintain an attractive, safe and stimulating classroom environment and to contribute to displays in the school as a wholeGrade students assessments, record their development, progress and report students resultsEnsure the standard outcomes of students following schools pillars of excellence and philosophyReview tests with students to ensure they are fulfilling requirements and are placed in the proper classes or programsResearch new teaching methods for teaching as well as current educational thinking and practices to improve the pedagogy and understanding of students behavior and developmentStudy/Attend courses, workshops and meetings and participate in appraisals and reviews of other teachers classesConfer with colleagues regarding instructional techniques, organization of practices, etc. to provide guidance and mentoringCommunicate with parents on students' learning and progress, drawing attention to special skills and talents, as well as to problems or difficultiesTake responsibility for maintaining good order, discipline and respect for others, among the students, both inside and outside the classroom; to promote understanding of the school's rules and values; to safeguard health and safety; and to develop relationships with and between students, conducive to optimum learning.
