**Secondary Art Teacher**

**(Maternity cover - September 2025 to March 2026)**
- The Visual Arts at BIS are a vibrant and integral part of school life. Our studios are busy and inclusive places where students engage in creativity at the highest levels, both in and outside of lessons. We thrive as an open and enthusiastically collaborative team of three full-time teachers plus a teaching assistant, working across three specialist studios. We are fantastically resourced in terms of materials and equipment and the art we make with our students is engaging, relevant and exciting.
- Visual Arts at BIS operate an open studio policy after school and during lunchtime, which gives our students every opportunity to connect and find their space in our enriching and stimulating environment designed to encourage artistic and intellectual enquiry. Art and Design is a popular IB Diploma and IGCSE option and the majority of our students regularly achieve exceptionally high grades.
