CNGRA (Company) is an investor/developer funded by Climate Fund Managers (CFM) and Norfund. We intend to develop solar rooftop projects across Vietnam to contribute to a better environment for Vietnam.

POSITION SCOPE

The Finance Executive will play a critical role in the finance department, responsible for overseeing billing and accounts receivable operations. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices, effective collections, and insightful revenue analysis. The Finance Executive will work closely with both internal departments and external partners to uphold robust financial controls and support the organization’s financial health and strategic goals.

1. Billing and Revenue Analysis:

- Efficiently manage the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue streams, identifying discrepancies, and irregularities for resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address billing issues and ensure timely collections.

2. O&M Payments Management:

- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for efficient processing of Operations and Maintenance payments.
- Liaise with financial institutions to facilitate seamless transaction processes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on payment processing for management review.

3. Preparation of Management Reports:

- Compile and prepare detailed reports on project financial performance for senior management evaluation.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on thorough financial data analysis.

4. Support for Annual Audits:

- Assist in gathering and preparing necessary financial documents and reports for annual audits.
- Work closely with auditors, addressing inquiries, and providing required information.

5. Journal Entries & Financial Statement Preparation:

- Record journal entries (JEs) related to capital expenditures (Capex) and other month-end closing activities.
- Prepare monthly financial statement.

6. Ad-hoc Tasks:

- Undertake diverse finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager to support departmental objectives and organizational needs.
- Adapt to changing priorities and assist in special projects as required.

POSITION HOLDER REQUIREMENTS

Formal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge
- Solid understanding of accounts receivables principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance related to accounts receivables.
- Professional certifications are desirable but not required.
- Must be fluent English and Vietnamese (written and spoken)
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-starter, positive team player is a must, with the agility to thrive in a fast-changing market.
- Having experience in Solar energy projects or operations will be an advantage.
