Position Objective

**Responsibilities**:
C&B Specialist reports directly to the C&B Assistant Manager daily and performs a full range of duties, including but not limited to:
Compensation & Benefits Administration
Proactively prepare and meticulously manage all labour contracts, annexes, probation confirmations, mutual agreements, and resignation documents, ensuring the highest standard of accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
Oversee contract renewals and maintain accurate staff profiles (both hard copies and HR system).
Prepare internal memos and letters for promotions, re-designations, salary adjustments, childcare benefits, disciplinary actions, and other matters as assigned.
Maintain basic knowledge of payroll calculations and reporting to ensure readiness to support payroll activities when required, including providing data and reports to Finance upon request.

Policy development & communication
Support annual review and updates of C&B policies, ensuring alignment with legal changes and company objectives.
Monitor and advise the C&B Head on labour law updates and C&B regulatory compliance.
Prepare clear and timely C&B communications for staff updates.

Insurance & Banking
Manage all statutory processes related to banking and one-time social insurance for expatriates.

Government compliance & reporting
Submit required reports to DOLISA, DOET, and relevant authorities (labour usage, safety, occupational accident reports, pay scale updates, etc.)
Ensure yearly government reporting and maintain C&B vendor service agreements.
Conduct HR vendor audits and assist with internal/external audits related to C&B.
Participate actively in establishing systems (HRIS, e-contract, etc.) as assigned

Others:
Act as an advisor to the C&B Assistant Manager on process efficiency, effectiveness, and documentation, while leveraging expertise to continuously enhance the C&B function.
Other duties as assigned by the line manager.

The job holder’s responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young person’s for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/he comes into contact will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the relevant Cognita Safeguarding; Child Protection Policy and Procedures at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, s/he must report any concerns to the School’s Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head of School or indeed to the Regional CEO or Safeguarding Manager - Asia so that a referral can be made accordingly to the statutory services.

Position Requirements
Has good knowledge of Vietnamese Labour law, Tax regulations, and Social insurance law.
Experienced in C&B Administration,
High analytical ability and spreadsheet skills, to work with details and a high level of accuracy.
Good time and self-management skills
Excellent in both English and Vietnamese speaking & writing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be able to work independently as well as in a team
Be able to work under pressure

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in HR related field or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of compensation and benefits experience
Hands-on experience in administering a major HR software system and a government system related to C&B

Working Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work is to be expected.
Annual Leave: 12 days per school year (prorated for partial years)
