The South East Asia Sourcing Office of a leading European Supermarket Chain is looking for an Assistant Merchandiser for a period of 5 to 6 months : August 2025 to Jan 2026. Possibility of full time job at the end of the period.

YOUR MAIN MISSIONS:
FOLLOW-UP OF ORDERS : FROM SIGNATURE TO SHIPMENT
- At all time, under the supervision of your Senior Merchandiser, you will be the link between South East Asian Factories and European buyers.
- By using the internal IT systems you will follow the sequence of all approvals (product conformity, delivery date, packaging details ) before the start of production.
- You will follow the production schedule of factories and ensure that everything is done to secure on-time deliveries.
- You will ensure that required Quality Controls are performed before Shipment.
- You will supervise the Shipments with nominated agencies and secure shipment details and documents.

MANAGEMENT OF SAMPLES
- With the help of the Quality Team, you will request, receive and check required samples before sending them to final destination.
- You will make sure that samples remaining in office are properly labelled and stored.

COMMUNICATION
- You will maintain a regular communication, by various means, with all parties to make sure that orders are shipped at the right time, in the right quality.
- You will adapt the tone of your communication according to circumstances and counterparts.
- You will report regularly to your team leader, particularly when he or she is travelling.
- You will inform and alert your team leader and management whenever a situation represents a risk regarding the level of quality, or the date of delivery.
- You will participate in finding and proposing solutions and appropriate actions.
