**Job description**:
**ABOUT THE JOB**
- You will be part of our delivery team and will be responsible for providing technical expertise throughout all phases of the software delivery life cycle as we initiate a transformation of NAB technology.

**YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with other NAB's technology leaders towards improving and fulfilling the NAB technical direction
- **Evangelize and promote JavaScript - NodeJS best practices**:

- Be passionate about JavaScript - NodeJS, stay relevant and understand how to implement advancement for existing or new systems
- Design, develop, review, implement, and manage continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts, systems, and any code as required
- Participate in **Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international development teams** to build scalable microservices-based products
- Work with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes, and tooling
- Provide robust coding practices and solid unit and component test coverage, and code debugging.

**Your skills and experience**:
**Must have**:

- At least **4 years’ experience** working in Software Development:

- **Solid experience in JavaScript ES6** (import/ export of Modules, promise, async wait, call-backs) and **TypeScript working with NodeJS**
- **Solid experience in using Jest Node.js** unit testing or similar frameworks
- Solid experience in designing & developing **RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems**:

- **Solid DevOps and Continuous Delivery skillset**: Experience in using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Solid experience in **Agile **development environments
- Well-versed in writing structured, well-documented, maintainable, and clean code
- Excellent in problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of standard Software Engineering processes, Testing, and Agile methodology
- Experience with** Microsoft Azure cloud-based** technologies (Azure Functions, Durable Functions, Serverless)
- **Strong English communication** skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment

**Nice to have**:

- Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry
- Experience in developing payments switching and processing, terminal management systems
- Experience in scripting (Bash, Python, Groovy, PowerShell, Azure CLI)
- Wide-ranging knowledge of various technologies (programming languages, frameworks, software architectures,)
- Experience with developing microservices Java and SpringBoot
- Experience in Front-End frameworks, specifically React.js
- Any additional certification or training in IT, Business, Computer Science, or related area.
