This is your chance to join the ground floor and build out our pipelines for AI consumption. **Role Description** This is a full-time paid hybrid role located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As Senior Data Engineer, you'll design and implement data processing pipelines that transform complex documents into structured data for AI consumption. You'll work closely with experienced founders to build solutions addressing real industry challenges while owning critical technical decisions from day one. **What You'll Do** - Build robust document processing pipelines for PDFs, Excel, and other formats - Develop text parsing algorithms for multi-column layouts and complex table extraction - Create JSON schema transformations for AI-ready data - Implement section boundary detection and text cleaning - Optimize extraction accuracy for regulatory and technical documents (ISO, SOC2, SBV) - Build automated quality assurance and testing systems **Qualifications** - Experience in Data Engineering and Data Processing technologies/models - Strong skills in Programming Languages like Python, TypeScript, and NoSQL/SQL - Knowledge of Data Security, Compliance, and Governance for regulated industries - Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment - Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field **Preferred Qualifications**: - OCR experience (Tesseract, AWS Textract, etc.) - Cloud document processing pipelines using S3 -> Lambda -> S3/DB (AWS) - Regulatory and financial document experience (Banking regulations such as MORB, SBV) - AI/ML data preparation background **Why This Role Matters** The data you'll be processing feeds directly into AI systems that help banking organizations understand and work with complex regulatory and policy documents in preparation for audits.
