- Responsible for the cleaning-up & operation of the Spa reception area under the direct management of Spa Supervisor.
- To check the following day’s appointments at the end of each day and to make necessary preparations accordingly.
- Always visible to guests by being present at the reception desk.
- Always enhances guest recognition by addressing guests by name and interacting with them on a professional level.
- Answers telephone calls in a professional, courteous, and polite manner in accordance with resort’s standards.
- Maintains a soft tone during conversation with colleagues, guests and on the phone.
- Accepts and accurately records all guest bookings for Spa services in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Ensure that all cashiering functions are carried out in accordance with the resort’s accounting procedures.
- Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
- Refers major guest objections to immediate superior to prevent further guest dissatisfaction.
- To report any guest comments or complaints to the Spa Services Supervisor as soon as convenient. In the absence of the Spa Services Supervisor, guest comments should be reported to the Director of Spa & Wellness.
- Be fully conversant with Spa services and facilities to be able to make helpful recommendations, and to be able to up-sell Spa services and Spa products.
- To perform sales consultations where required and work with a team of therapists & others to achieve outlet sales targets
- Accepts responsibility for, and to show initiative in decision making when handling minor guest objections, to enhance guest satisfaction.
- To ensure spa grooming standards are adhered to and maintain personal appearance and hygiene.
- Report for duty punctually, always wearing the correct uniform and nametag.
- Attends briefings and meetings as requested.
- Conducts inspections of the Spa areas as directed.
- Has a complete understanding of the resort’s standards, policies, and procedures in respect to health, hygiene, and safety.
- Attends all scheduled training, even if this should fall outside of regular working hours.
- To contribute to the morale and team spirit of company by maintaining excellent work collaboration and relationships among associates within the company and resort.
- Demonstrates co-operation and trust with colleagues, supervisors, teams and across departments.
- Ensures that work quality meets the standards required and completes tasks in a timely and thorough manner with minimum supervision.
- Performs any other reasonable tasks as directed by the superior and responsibilities as assigned.
