As a Payment Operations - Vice President within Vietnam Branch Operations team, you are responsible for managing the day-by-day execution and completion of all client Payment demands, and associated service support functions. You will manage the day-by-day execution and completion of Banking Regulatory Operations in terms of regulatory reporting requirements. You will also manage aspects of Payment Operations team and Banking Regulatory Operations team including control and compliance, training, development, performance measurement, support processes and expense management
**Job responsibilities**
- Lead and supervise the Payment Operations team and Banking Regulatory Ops team in delivering all aspects of business processing and regulatory reporting requirement, with close partnership with Sales, Products, Client Services, Compliance, Regional Hub, Regional Project Teams, as well as Regional Stake Holders
- Participate in daily monitoring of performance against established metrics (account opening, account maintenance, payment process, etc.) for Payment Operations. Check and ensure that all transactions are processed in a complete, accurate manner and within facility limits
- Participate in daily monitoring of performance against established metrics (regulatory reporting timeline, compliance, process review and enhancement etc) for Branch Regulatory Operations.
- Manage hub’s support & ensure timely process of Account opening, maintenance, closure, regulatory reporting consolidation and generation
- Process & verify payments, deposit and/or liquidity transactions.
- Perform compliance check on supporting documents & sanction screening of the same for foreign currency transactions
- Process & manage transaction thru clearing house & partner banks.
- Perform nostro account reconciliation
- Manage on site team on the regulatory reporting execution
- Participate and align with Branch Operations Head, as well as Regional Stake Holders and other Stake Holders in incident management, problem resolution, control and compliance discussion and enhancement, change management, productivity improvement, and also people management
- Align with Regional Senior team in Operations activities and objectives to ensure the objectives are fulfilled, meanwhile facilitating business growth requirement
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- At least 7 years of operations experience, including team management
- Knowledge in payment processing and regulatory reporting
- High level of leadership standards, including but not limited to leading by example, ownership and reliability
- Strong command of English
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Bachelor degree in banking and finance sector, post graduate level is a plus
- Computing and scripting skills and knowledge (advanced excel function / xCeptor/ Alteryx etc) are preferable
