**RT4D**

The Australian Regional Trade for Development (RT4D) Facility is a $38 million Australian Government initiative that will support effective implementation of the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA) and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) to secure predictable, transparent, and market-based frameworks for regional trade and investment. RT4D will provide support to regional (e.g. FTA Joint Committees (FJCs), the ASEAN Secretariat) and national partners (e.g. Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam), while facilitating Australia’s diplomatic goals. FTA implementation is occurring within a context of shifting geostrategic relationships and the ongoing impacts of COVID-19. With both the RCEP and an upgraded Agreement Establishing the AANZFTA coming into force in 2022, RT4D commences in a period of regional political and economic change, recalibration of national trade agendas, and uncertainty of the global power balance.

RT4D also includes a A$5 million Trade and Gender Equality Incubator (TGEI).

The RT4D may receive additional funding from DFAT and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) during implementation.

**Key responsibilities**
- Develop/update/ revise data collection tools (paper, electronics, online) to fit the natures and requirements of specific tasks/ activities.
- Conduct data collection/surveys and gathering/collecting regular reports/ materials/ updates and evidence from the project’s partners and beneficiaries.
- Provide support to conduct internal evaluations, data collection during events and data management.
- Undertake field visits to activity sites when necessary.
- Support the MEL Manager in collaboration with the Trade and Gender Equality Incubator (TGEI) Lead to identify data needs, collect required data, and produce lessons learned supporting TGEI approaches.

**Selection criteria**
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in donor-funded program/project M&E (familiar with results framework/log frames, key performance indicators, and quality expectations).
- At least two years of experience in data collection/ survey implementation, including formulating data collection forms/templates, conducting surveys, and data verification.
- Strong data processing and analysis skills, data structure and database, and data management.
- Comprehensive computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in online platforms, including SurveyMonkey and SurveyLab.
- Good communication skills (both verbally and in writing) in English.
