SAP Master Data Specialist

Objectives and scope of job: This role involves setting production costs (COGS) in advance and ensuring that these costs are not exceeded during production. Responsible for the implementation of SAP-related activities, including ongoing support. This role requires proficiency in the analysis of solution design, project implementation and master data accuracy to support the operation activities. Desired experience includes technical, functional and process expertise to drive strategic results for projects and initiatives.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

- Ensure Master Data accuracy in SAP under a quality-driven environment, involving raw materials, purchasing info record, BOM, production planning, manufactured products, and finished goodsin line with corporate data standards;
- Work collectively under a team-driven environment to update requirements in SAP for ERP and MRP. Strong emphasis on serialization, environmental monitoring, validation, stability, workflows, and notifications from SAP;
- Generate the reports, when required, that summarize investigations performed for out-of-specification results or out-of-procedure events;
- Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas;
- Technical support for users;
- Coordinate with SAP adviser/ consultant from subcontractor and SAP team from headquarters to implement S4 Hana project in Vietnam;
- Creating and updating the standards workflow, production routing and tool lists;
- Creating and updating materials master data into SAP system;
- Processing manufacturing parameters in cooperation with technologists, quality, production, planning;
- Processing Materials information in cooperation with Purchasing and Planning;
- Creating evaluations and analyses of basic data regarding commodities, plan data and machine data;
- Defining and checking of cycle times and set-up times vs budget data;
- Knowledge of workplace creation;
- Capacity calculations at workplaces;
- Handling load planning of workplaces;
- Elaborating processes vision studies;
- Processing product economic/cost analyses;
- Supporting the relevant line leader/ product group leader, e.g. ratio/ saving projects...
- Monitoring cost optimization projects in plants;
- Cooperating on projects while implementing new machine concepts, technologies, and methods;
- Supporting Improvement program through e.g. ABC/XYZ analyses and VSA/VSD;
- Cooperating on optimization processes in the scope of Lean methods;
- Be responsible for following standards at the workplace;

- A bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related scientific/ technical field is required
- Master data management certification
- Experience in master data management and implementation SAP project, understanding the manufacturing processes
- SAP expertise: MM, PP, Master data tables, transactions in ECC6 or S4HANA environment
- Master data governance, data quality and PLM tools knowledge
- Technology savvy: data extraction and analytics capabilities (Winshuttle, SAP BW, SAC, SAP queries
- Process-oriented and data-standard adherence;
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make structured decisions on a routine basis;
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines;
