Quantitative Researcher, Machine Learning

The quantitative researcher designs and backtest trading models, which form the most important elements in the final trading strategies. Under the guidance of senior researchers, interns will focus on research topics and implement trading signals and quantitative strategies using machine learning/deep learning.
**Responsibilities**:
Assist in stock data cleaning and carry out statistics of various indicators
Conduct in-depth research and modeling of data to develop trading strategies
Track trading strategy performance, perform quantitative backtesting, simulation, statistical analysis, and post-improvement work
Participate in regular research paper sharing
**Qualifications**:
- Penultimate or final year student pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in mathematics, statistics, computer science, financial engineering, physics or other science and engineering-related fields
- Solid mathematical and statistical foundation, excellent in probability and statistical analysis
- Possess programming experience and is proficient in using Python for data processing and analysis
- Diligent and able to handle tedious tasks
- Possess a passion for quantitative research, is proactive and responsible and has good communication and teamwork skills
**Pluses**:
- Familiar with Linux and C++
- Past quantitative research internship/project experience and familiar with stock multi factor modeling
- Experience in machine learning/deep learning/artificial intelligence projects
- Winners of competitions such as Olympiad/ACM ICPC/Kaggle
