**Job description**:
As a Data Engineer, you will be the bridge between our new clients and our CRM, handling some of the most challenging, high-value data jobs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Run, monitor, and maintain existing ETL processes built in C# and SQL Server, including data imports, exports, and transfers.
- Prepare, clean, and validate client data (Excel, JSON, XML, SQL backups, etc.) before importing.
- Use internal C# tools and SQL scripts to load data into the CRM database.
- Perform essential database maintenance tasks such as index optimization, query performance tuning, and regular database backups.
- Investigate and resolve data issues (missing records, mapping errors, validation problems).
- Collaborate closely with our New Zealand team and international clients to confirm successful data migrations.

**Your skills and experience**:
** Technical Expertise**
- Strong hands-on skills in C# and Entity Framework.
- Solid knowledge of MS SQL Server and T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, joins).
- Experience with ETL workflows — Import, Transform, Export — for complex datasets.
- Familiarity with Azure or Azure Data Factory is a plus.
- Experience working with financial or insurance data is an advantage.

- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
