**JOB OVERVIEW**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Full SDLC Engagement and Leadership
- Actively participate in and guide all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle for AI/ML solutions, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Planning & Requirements Analysis: Lead the detailed gathering, analysis, and clarification of business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for AI/ML solutions. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and define project scope and objectives.
- Design: Design comprehensive, end-to-end architectures for AI/ML systems, including model selection, technology stack, platform choices (on-premise, cloud), data flows, API integrations, and deployment mechanisms, with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Implementation/Development Support: Provide technical oversight and guidance during the development phase, ensuring adherence to architectural blueprints and coding standards.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Define testing strategies for AI/ML models and systems, ensuring robust validation, performance benchmarking, and addressing potential biases or ethical concerns.
- Deployment: Collaborate with DevOps/MLOps teams to establish efficient CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML solutions, ensuring seamless model deployment and updates in production environments.
- Maintenance & Operations: Define strategies for ongoing monitoring, optimization, retraining, and governance of deployed AI models and systems, ensuring their long-term effectiveness and reliability.

**Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML techniques and tools to improve various stages of the SDLC. This may include, but is not limited to, using AI for**:

- Automated code generation or code completion.
- Intelligent test case generation or test optimization.
- Predictive analytics for project risks or resource allocation.
- Anomaly detection in logs for faster debugging and issue resolution.
- Natural Language Processing (NLP) for requirements analysis and documentation automation.
- Automated security vulnerability scanning or threat modeling.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend cutting-edge AI-powered tools and platforms that can streamline development workflows and enhance software quality.
- Lead pilot projects to integrate AI into existing SDLC processes and measure their impact.

**Technical Consulting and Mentorship**
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to AI/ML development teams and data engineers, promoting adherence to SDLC principles and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively identify and address technical debt and architectural improvements across all SDLC phases.
- Development and Prototyping: Lead the creation of proofs-of-concept (PoCs) and prototypes to validate new ideas and technologies, quickly iterating through early SDLC stages.

**Stakeholder Management**
- Effectively communicate architectural designs and technical solutions to a wide range of stakeholders, from technical teams to business leadership, ensuring alignment at every SDLC milestone.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data science, machine learning engineering, or software development, with at least 2-3 years of dedicated experience in an AI/ML-focused Solution Architect role or equivalent.
- Strong track record in designing and implementing large-scale AI/ML solutions across the entire SDLC in production environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Deep knowledge of popular ML frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face Transformers.
