**Your background and experience**:
This is a certified A-Level Physics teaching position that requires you to have a recognised teaching qualification in A-Level Physics.

Please note that you must have the following qualifications to be considered:

- **Bachelors**or **Masters** in Education** or
- Relevant degree (minimum **3-year Bachelor degree**in Physics/Science) and **a post-graduate qualification in education** (PGCE, IPGCE, Teaching Now/Ready) and/or **a teaching license from a national/state accreditation board**.

Furthermore, we are looking for a teacher who:

- Has a strong curiosity about learning about other cultures and working with diverse people
- Has a genuine interest in the field of Physics teaching from both a pedagogical and theoretical perspective
- Display an open mindset and ability to develop efficient student and parent relationships
- Shows a willingness to embrace our VAS core values
- Believes that Physics education plays an important role in the development of students’ skills, knowledge, and understanding
- Recognises the value of learning beyond the classroom in enhancing the understanding and experience of the world in which we live
- Is a team player, with a ‘can do’ solution-focused attitude
- Possesses outstanding communication skills and personal integrity
- Please note that this is a Maternity Cover position, initially for 3-6 months
