- Responsible for the overall management of the construction team including the structural and MEP functions, including mentoring, recruitment and performance management of the team members.
- Directing the construction team through all construction phases of a project including contractor coordination and all aspects of site management.
- Responsible for tracking the project status and timely notification of any project delay.
- Undertake regular site inspections to ensure construction progress and quality control is in line with client expectations, and to identify any emergent problems to be addressed and ensure they are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the technical control of documentation related to the construction works during each phase of the project verifying content and compliance with project requirements.
- Participate in the development, and implementation, of all quality, design and construction related document procedures ensuring they are in accordance with Archetype Group standards.
- Review Design Drawings and Documents, including Specifications to determine if they are in accordance with Contract Performance Specification and relevant regulations, issue variation orders where required.
- Review the As Build Drawings prepared by the Contractor(s) to ensure compliance with construction requirements.
- Support the PM and the Design coordinator during the change control process and ensure approved changes are implemented at site.
- Client liaison including ensuring the client is kept informed of project progress, problems and emergent issues.
- Administrative procedures including drafting correspondence, issuing certification and other construction documentation.
- Cease contractors from continuing work if concerns are identified with safety, quality, method statements or any other non-conformance.
- Review all Contractor’s documentation including Method Statements and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with all functional areas of the project team to ensure the overall management of the construction project is undertaken in a manner that meets the standards for quality, safety, commercial, document control, design and scheduling of the Archetype Group and client requirements.
- Recruitment decisions for construction team members for a small project and within the Limitations of Authority Policy of the Archetype Group. Assisting with the recruitment of construction team members as required by the Project Manager on a larger project.
- Overall construction site management, highlighting any issues with site management to the Project Manager.

**Kinh nghiệm / Kỹ năng chi tiết**:

- Degree qualified in Engineering. (Master’s Degree preferred)
- 12+ years experience working on construction projects including a minimum of 8 years experience managing construction teams.
- Relevant experience in real estate and high-rise buildings.
- Advanced technical abilities in construction management, with the ability to train and mentor others to develop further their skills in contractor management, safety, quality management, and site-based design management.
- Advanced attention to detail, particularly in respect to contractual requirements, design/site drawings, quality of construction works and construction standard methods.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear reports, site instructions/memos and meeting minutes that are clear and understandable.
- Previous experience managing multicultural project teams in an expatriate environment either in Asia, the Middle East, Africa or South America.
- Good leadership skills, ensuring teams are well motivated, organized, able to provide clear direction and manage conflict.
- Good client management skills, including demonstrable persuasiveness, negotiation skills and inter-personal skills.
- Good working knowledge of software used in project management including: Microsoft Project, Primavera, Team Binder, Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
