Handle the purchase of beverage, weekly beverage ordering and consignment beverage ordering. Undertake local purchases of all kinds: Engineering, Health Club, F&B (Steward or Kitchen’s requirement), Stationery with general store, receiving, beverage section staff, etc.

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS

1. Handle the order for beverage of all kinds:

- Order beverage according to beverage store’s requirement by weekly.
- Update items & costs. Maintain an accurate controllable log & beverage perpetual
- Double check prices of the beverage order and ensure they are reasonable and competitive.
- Source and order from reliable agent to ensure getting the best price and quality.
- Inform Purchasing Manager promptly of the changing status of products in the market for proper action.
- Take charge of ordering beverage and miscellaneous things for concerned departments.

2. Undertake local purchase requisition requested by hotel Department leaders:

- Order stationery for hotel
- Double check the prices monthly to ensure the selected price is the most competitive
- Ensure the purchased products meet hotel standard
- Search for sources which can offer better price

3. Handle local purchase of engineering, Health Club, general supplies and Misc. order to ensure that purchased items meet the user’s requirement and delivery in time

4. Coordinate with Receiving/Store section to ensure that delivery schedule of goods or commodities and required quantity & quality and distribute relevant documents such as official invoice necessary for receiving procedures

5. Do market survey frequently to capture the changes of the market and to ensure the quoted prices are most competitive. Always have the list of substitute for goods/commodities in case of unavailability of the existing used ones.
