- + Enhance the performance and strategic value of Amanotes’ existing portfolio.
- + Drive operational synergies between portfolio companies and Amanotes’ core business.
- + Ensure portfolio activities align with Amanotes’ strategic goals of strengthening the game development pipeline and exploring emerging trends (e.g., AI, music tech), while supporting financial oversight and evaluation of potential new investments as needed.
- + Provide clear, actionable insights to the CEO and Head of Finance through quarterly portfolio performance reports, balancing strategic outcomes with financial health and readiness for new opportunities.

What you will do
- Oversee the management of Amanotes’ existing portfolio, focusing on operational support and performance monitoring.
- Monitor financial and strategic metrics of portfolio companies (e.g., revenue, downloads, active users for game studios).
- Drive operational synergies by facilitating partnerships and tech integrations between portfolio companies and Amanotes’ core business (e.g., supporting new studios with publishing or integrating AI tools for game design).
- Mitigate portfolio risks by providing targeted support to struggling investments, through improved operational guidance and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with external consultants to support portfolio growth and, when necessary, assist in evaluating potential new investments, ensuring financial alignment with Amanotes’ broader fiscal strategy.
- Support financial oversight by tracking portfolio financials, contributing to budgeting, and providing input on capital structure considerations for existing and potential new investments, with support from outsourced partners.
- Deliver monthly/quarterly reports to the CEO and Head of Finance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals (e.g., partnerships formed, tech integrations) and financial oversight (e.g., budgeting, tax compliance, and readiness for new deals).

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, venture capital, or operational management, preferably in the gaming or tech industry.
- Proven track record of managing and growing investment portfolios, with a focus on operational support and strategic alignment (e.g., driving synergies, improving portfolio performance).
- Basic financial acumen to oversee portfolio financials, contribute to budgeting, and evaluate potential new investments, with the ability to collaborate with external financial experts as needed.
- Strong understanding of the gaming industry, including key metrics like downloads, active users, and in-game revenue, and the ability to support game studios operationally.
- Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to align with senior leadership (e.g., CEO, Head of Finance) and report on both strategic and financial outcomes.
- High adaptability to work in a fast-paced, high-uncertainty environment, with a focus on delivering results across operational and financial domains.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor portfolio performance, mitigate risks, and assess new opportunities when required.
- Fluency in verbal and written English; Vietnamese proficiency is a plus for local collaboration.
