Manage Textile laboratory and maintain a high level of technical compliance and quality performance for the laboratory of consumable products testing. Optimize the team organization and productivity as well as all aspect of the têxtile laboratory operation in a good discipline. Act as technical expert of the Textile laboratory, responsible in developing/implementing new testing method and regulatory requirements.

**The Job**:

- Operate the management system and ISO 17025;
- Manage and improve operations workflow, processes and resources, to ensure work effectiveness and efficiency in the laboratory;
- Develop and implement new testing method and regulatory requirements;
- Provide technical advice on new test capability development;
- Understand client request / instruction on test requirement(s);
- Identify potential issues in the laboratory; analyze and provide timely resolution of technical problems;
- Review and approve têxtile test methods, SOPs, WIs and datasheets;
- Review têxtile testing data and approve test report;
- Analyze and identify training goals and needs; design and deliver training;
- Budget planning.

**Education**:
**Qualification**:

- Approval signatory is preferred, Textile / Material Engineer or Chemical Engineer or B.A degree in natural sciences.

**Training**:

- ISO 17025 training certificate, internal auditor certificate is a must.

Lab safety, 5S, technical training, etc...

**Technical Knowledge**:

- In-depth knowledge of ISO 17025 and accreditations requirement;
- In-depth knowledge of têxtile apparel standards/requirements in various countries.

**Skills**:

- Good trouble shooting and supervision, leadership skills;
- Good communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills;
- Able to manage the test instrument such as Tensile strength, tearing strength machine, etc...
- Proficiency in MS Office Suites.

**Experience**:

- At least 5 years management experience in têxtile & footwear testing laboratory operation.

**Language Proficiency**:

- Fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese

**Others**:

- Analytical mind and logical thinking.
- Strong technical knowledge.
