The Production manager manage the capacity planning, PO management & Production WIP to fulfil the demand needs and on time delivery. Collaborate with the company Head quarter in capacity planning PO Management and P2P process.
Objectives
Supervise and manage Production teams. Monitor all aspects of planning, scheduling, sourcing, salesman samples and production. Manage systems and tools data accuracy and data flow. Owns the analyze and reporting of capacity and deliveries. Backup for purchasing management in Head Quarter. When required, support on tasks related to PO placement, IBD, GR, invoicing and payment process.
Duties
Capacity planning:
Collaboration with Capacity planning in Head Quarter, responsible for supplier capacity booking. Create production capacity plans which meet business targets and optimize allocation, manufacturing prioritization, delivery plans.
Assess existing capacity and draw up forecasts based on future plans for demand
Analyze specifications and capacity and undertake appropriate calculations to estimate requirements, in terms of materials and accessories bookings and timelines.
Coordinating with Capacity planning in Head Quarter to manage booking of necessary supplies (greige fabrics, etc) to fulfill the given capacity planning.
Continually monitor and review plans and make appropriate adjustments in the event of changes and unforeseen circumstances. Monthly updates on capacity fill rates and availability necessary as part of S&OP.
Reconcile variances from original plans and maintain a view of actual against forecast projections.
Co-ordinate with Global Sourcing (Callaway Asia) & Head quarter, develop long term capacity planning for vendors and manage execution with internal stakeholders.
Continually review ways in which to make improvements and make the capacity planning, manufacturing process more efficient
PO Management & Production:
Own Purchasing Order management process to fulfil pre-defined business requirements from purchasing management in Head Quarter.
Own Purchasing Order data and data quality. Manages the PO management & Production team to maintain daily in the ERP(SAP) and production management systems (OSCA) to always reflect the latest and most updated status. In case of data discrepancy, be accountable, act quickly on mapping and resolving any challenge.
Closely manage supplier production planning and execution to ensure 95% on-time delivery. Constantly exercise negotiation and problem-solving skills to meet the strategic goals.
Develop, implement and monitor KPI’s for production management and on-time delivery to support daily business. Develop and maintain management weekly reports to reflect the production and delivery plan status.
WIP and ETD report overall analysis
Drive and maintain style lead-time, negotiate with vendor
Co-ordinate and liaise with other functions for solving production related topics to assure and optimize delivery result
Built and manage business relationship with suppliers to ensure always smooth and compromised results.
Act as interface between suppliers and global logistic teams to ensure the booking and shipment arrangements are in alignment with production plan and delivery dates required from the business.
Closely liaise with multiple stakeholders to secure sustainable and lean P2P deliverability.
Liaise with Supply Planning & Operation and Purchasing in Head Quarter, to determine the best MOT base on business requirement and inventory
Coaching and Management:
Mentor, coach and develop direct reports
Monitor her/his division productivity in line with KPIs. Adjust the team structure and Division headcount based on KPIs movements.
Maintain close and appropriate relationship with all vendors as well as with all peers in both Asia and Headquarters.
Support Superiors for relevant task and project, and any task direct from management.
