**About us**

We are a young dynamic Australian accounting and financial planning practice, currently expanding our base to Ho Chi Minh City. We have a diverse client base with one major specialty: we look after property investors. The majority of our clients come to us because of our expertise in managing property wealth and minimising property related tax. Of course, we handle all the usual kind of accounting work you’d expect of a long-established CPA firm too. Using state of the art systems and technology, our firm is committed to best practice and provision of consistently high-quality services. The Covid pandemic has not impacted our operation and we managed to retain all our staff working from home. Last but not least, we pride ourselves on providing continuous support in training and development to our staff and fostering a collaborative work environment.

**Job description**

The main duties of this role are:

- Preparation of Income tax returns for all entities in Australia
- Preparation of Business activity statements and Instalment activity statements
- Preparation of standard financial statements
- Draft correspondence to clients
- Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
- Other quarterly and annual compliance matters
- Continuous learning of Australian accounting standards and tax laws

**Successful applicant**
- Have a Bachelor of Business/Commerce degree majoring in accounting
- Prior experience within an Australian business advisory and tax environment is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Australian accounting software packages - Reckon APS, Software Assistant, XERO and MYOB is also well regarded
- Positive attitude, ability to work independently and in a team with good interpersonal skills
- Capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines and willing to work overtime if required
- Excellent verbal and written English skills (IELTS 7.0 or equivalent)
- Mandarin/ Cantonese speaking would be an advantage but not essential.
