FWD Vietnam Technology Company Limited., known as FWD VTC, was set up in 2024 and is part of FWD Group. FWD VTC in Vietnam is one of FWD Group’s office locations serving multiple markets within the Group and employs team members in various functions including Group Technology and Operations, Group Digital & Data and our Centre of Excellence comprising cloud & infrastructure, information security, enterprise architecture and solution delivery.
- To accelerate the delivery of FWD data strategy outcome including product simplicity, experience focus, multi-channel distribution, hyper-relevant channel interactions, and systematic organizational agility
- Manage and support cloud platform tasks following priority, define Azure/AWS platform resource monitoring method, provide the cost charge for all BU and projects.
- Ensure the data technical solution following group data architecture standard definition and security requirement.
- Be responsible for tasks assignment, coaching, and training of team members to ensure the delivery with high efficiency and quality
- As one of key contributors, support the company to build up core competence and promote best practice across the company

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Possess extensive knowledge in Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments. Manage and optimize Cloud services, including virtual machines, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, and storage solutions. Implement efforts in automating deployment pipelines using CI/CD methodologies, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software updates.
- Design and build robust cloud infrastructures for internal and client-facing projects based on FWD group cloud platform strategy by translating proposed architecture views into engineered solutions that meet security and data protection requirements, and joining in the implementation of native, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructure designs.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to develop and reinforce the cloud-related skills (AWS/Azure) for team members to catch up with the evolving technology, ensuring members are equipped to meet the volatile and complex requirements from business user
- Manage and assign tasks to team, ensuring clear communication, effective monitoring of progress and regular check-ins.
- Taking the role as Cloud platform owner for 7x24 standby support that will oversee the entire data platform operations and end-to-end delivery processes. With the in-deep knowledge of the platform to quickly identify and resolve issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining high service availability.
- Manage Cloud platform incidents, taking a proactive approach to identify, prioritize, and resolve incidents, minimizing disruptions and ensuring continuity of service.
- Monitor and address cloud service issues, scalability, upgrade security controls, and troubleshoot user and FWD Group cloud platform issues.
- Provide the support for cloud resources monitoring and optimization solution to reduce the cloud cost
- Lead vendor resources or internal data engineer team to ensure the quality & result of delivery
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in cloud platform.
- Effectively build up and maintain communication channels with senior management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and strategic initiatives to align cloud platform support with organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in computer or IT.
- 5+ years of overall experience in Linux/Unix server administration, infrastructure setup, scripting configurations and security issue remediations
- 2+ years of experience in deploying and life cycle management of platform services on public cloud infrastructure like Azure Cloud or AWS Cloud
- Has the experience and skills on team management

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Scripting background with PowerShell or Azure CLI, Configuration management experience on Windows and Linux
- Experience with Azure/AWS main components, Ex. AKS, ADF, Databricks, ARM etc.
- Well versed in DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking and security
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in delivery driven team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to problems and issues
- Knowledge of security best practices is preferred
