**What you can expect in the role**:

- Working with cutting-edge technology: Globant uses the latest test automation tools and frameworks for testing Web, Mobile, ETL and Web services and many more. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with these technologies and tools and gain experience with the latest industry practices.
- Complete ownership of the deliverables: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will have complete ownership of your deliverables, meaning you will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts, executing automated tests, analyzing test results, and reporting defects.

**What we expect of you**:

- Leading and mentoring a team of test automation engineers to develop and maintain automated tests and frameworks.
- Creating and implementing a test automation strategy that aligns with the overall project goals and objectives.
- Ensuring the team is following the best practices and tools for test automation to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborating with project stakeholders to prioritize test automation efforts and ensure timely delivery of test automation solutions.
- Conducting regular code reviews to ensure the quality of test automation code.
- Reporting on test automation progress and results to project stakeholders and leadership.
- Developing and maintaining automated tests using open-source test automation frameworks.
- Demonstrating strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to perform root cause analysis of the defects.
