We are currently seeking a **Vietnam and Southeast Asia Manager** with professional and proficient face-to-face marketing that emphasizes expanding the client base, ensuring business growth, and leveraging both internal capabilities and the Manager’s network to secure new opportunities and meet business targets.
**What you will be doing.**:
As our **Southeast Asia Manager - Vietnam, **you will manage daily operations and implement strategic plans to grow the renewables business. Focused on Wind, Solar, and BESS consultancy, the Manager will ensure smooth operations and drive business growth. Collaboration with regional teams will be key to expanding client opportunities and maximizing cross-selling. In addition, you will:
- Establish and manage OWC’s main hub in Vietnam, with branch offices across Southeast Asia.
- Lead day-to-day operations and execute strategic plans for the region, ensuring employee performance aligns with OWC policies.
- Grow OWC’s renewables business in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, focusing on Wind, Solar, BESS, and offshore renewable energy technologies.
- Expand the client base, secure new business, and drive organic growth to meet turnover and profit targets.
- Leverage existing networks to develop leads, manage consultancy assignments, and deliver renewables services.
- Collaborate with OWC and ABL regional teams to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Quality & HSE standards across all projects and operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
**What we are looking for.**:
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in business development and strategy, with demonstrated success in driving growth and achieving business objectives within the Energy Sector. You have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions. In addition, you will have:
- Degree in an engineering discipline related to renewable energy.
- Proven management experience with commercial acumen and P&L responsibility.
- Strong experience managing budgets, contracts, and business units.
- 10+ years in the Renewable Energy Industry, with a focus on consultancy or utility roles.
- Expertise in local renewables markets and technical knowledge of onshore/offshore renewables.
- Successful track record of converting opportunities into sales and achieving targets.
- Skilled in recruiting, managing, and developing teams, with mentoring capabilities.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
