Supervises individual contributors, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. Oversees high-level Warehouse and Distribution supply chain logistics operations, from initial receiving of components in materials movement, to the final distribution and transportation of finished goods. Supports initiatives to ensure that all warehouse areas are properly maintained, and that product is stored and handled in accordance with requirements established by company policies and procedures as well as federal and local regulatory requirements. Measures and monitors site inventory by verifying accuracy for all transactions, following departmental cycle count programs, to avoid physical inventory inaccuracies. Collects relevant, current competitor activity and announcements to create innovative ideas for new Warehouse and Distribution strategies. Ensures core Warehouse and Distribution procedures are in accordance with local and federal regulatory policies and requirements. Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within expected standards. Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
