FWD Vietnam Technology Company Limited., known as FWD VTC, was set up in 2024 and is part of FWD Group. FWD VTC in Vietnam is one of FWD Group’s office locations serving multiple markets within the Group and employs team members in various functions including Group Technology and Operations, Group Digital & Data and our Centre of Excellence comprising cloud & infrastructure, information security, enterprise architecture and solution delivery.

This role is part of finance cloud team, who will implement cloud solution for group finance, investment and actuarial operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Monitor and proactively remediate issue identified in production system- Implement preventive measures to avoid production incident- Assist manager to supervise the project delivery management for all the key cloud initiatives, accelerating time to market, adapting to the market and competition, maintaining system stability and reliability Improving the mean time to recovery

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Work with finance and actuarial team to understand business problem, propose and build new cloud-based architecture and solution- Manage and perform cloud to cloud migration to provide resilient, secure and scalable solution- Setup cloud-based infrastructure with IaC and CI tools- Collaborate closely with Group Enterprise Architecture team, Group Cloud team and business team for managing operational tasks and challenges- Provide cloud engineering and operational support for large scale distributed environment- Provide input to management on the best practices, observations from daily delivery, and suggestions to improve the team’s efficiency and quality- Ensure delivery of identified cloud projects and activities within agreed constraints of time and quality- Manage and lead a small team, arrange resources assigned according to projects plan- Assist managers to manage the assigned module, including task assignment, prioritization and risk identification- Make decisions and solve problems with mínimal guidance from managers to drive the assigned tasks- Coach and mentor junior team members and share knowledge to broader teams.
- QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE- B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering- At least 6+ years of relevant work experience in cloud engineering with 1+ year of team management experience- 1+ years of experience in cloud automation/ orchestration/ monitoring technology- Strong hand-on experience in design and deploy secure cloud environment- Strong hand-on experience in cloud and on-premises network and security practice

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS- Solid understanding in features and capabilities of AWS Cloud platform- Knowledge with cloud native backup and recovery solution- Knowledge with cloud logging, monitoring and service recovery- Knowledge in cloud automation, for example IaC, CICD, auto cloud service recovery- Experience and knowledge of containers, orchestration tools and container administration.- Fluent English communication in writing and speaking
