Sourcing Analyst

The Sourcing_ Analyst II is instrumental in building source plans and supporting other sourcing activities regionally and globally. This role also supports global initiatives and long-range strategies, gathers information for manufacturing site evaluations, aids in _establishing_ production schedules, _quality_ and cost targets, and ensures adherence to company policies for efficient operations. This role fosters positive relationships with apparel design and manufacturing departments, integrating their goals into the sourcing process._
- Primary Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing plans, aligning with global sourcing strategies.- Conduct thorough source reviews and resourcing activities to optimize production and cost-efficiency.- Finalize and communicate source plan details, including any changes in country of origin.- Create, review, and accurately input source plan data into the PDM system.- Operational Coordination and Process Improvement:
- Manage day-to-day communication and coordination with liaison offices and internal departments.- Proactively identify and implement process improvements within the sourcing department.- Set up and maintain SRT Placeholder PDM data, including initial Global Demand Plan and adjusted Regional Demand Plan files.- Maintain and update the cost exception library for accurate cost tracking and analysis.- Data Management and Reporting- Request and maintain annual FGV updates, including 3-year capacity, business percentage, partner profiles, capability updates, and management lists.- Participate in GSP Capacity Review Meetings to stay informed of potential source changes.- Contribute to departmental projects and initiatives as assigned.- Participate in annual goal-setting processes to align with company objectives.- Work collaboratively with other stakeholders and LO functions to ensure styles are placed in the right factories, ensure a balance of cost efficiency, capability, quality, compliance and production feasibility while maintaining alignment with brand and company objectives.- Drive effective problem solving and continuos improvement- Ensure accurate and timely updates of data management systems (PDM, Share Points) where applicable.

Specific Job Skills, Abilities & KnowledgeExpertise in offshore apparel sourcing and garment manufacturing.- Understanding of capacity planning, factory evaluation, and vendor compliance.- Fluent in English (written and verbal communication) and ability to work with diverse cultures.- Proficiency in problem-solving, independent decision-making, and computer software.- Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict timelines, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work extended hours if necessary- Good IT skills in using Excel, Word- Ability to manage PDM systems and data.- Ability to travel via air or car to visit vendors across Vietnam

Education and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.- 3-5 years of professional experience in merchandising, sourcing, manufacturing preferably in apparel, or related field or combination of equivalent education and related experience
