At ABL, we are poised for significant growth and are excited to announce an opportunity for our internal employees to join us as a **Senior Structural Engineer.** In this pivotal role, you will oversee engineering services across diverse market sectors, collaborate with various departments, and contribute to Longitude Engineering Pte Ltd and our sister companies. You will lead a team of engineers and technical personnel, ensuring alignment with project goals and quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships. Additionally, you will mentor and coach your team to foster their professional development.

**What you will be doing.**:
As a **Senior Structural Engineer**, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional naval architecture engineering services for Longitude Engineering Pte Ltd and our sister companies. Your responsibilities will include project management, proposal preparation, and actively engaging in business development efforts to expand our client base. You will lead the conceptual, basic, and detailed design analysis of ships and various fixed and floating structures within the marine, offshore, and energy sectors. In addition, you will assist with a broad range of activities, that include:

- Assist with preparation of proposals for bids and tender inputs. Developing new business including initiating and winning proposals.
- Assist and/or lead projects (as assigned by the manager) to accomplish the overall delivery of optimum solutions to customers within the timeframe, costs and quality standards established by ABL and/or the Client
- Responsible for the execution of projects and deliverables in accordance with ABL quality and HSE standards.
- Ensure all deliverables carried out in accordance with ABL policies and procedures.
- Attend regular internal meetings and external / third party meetings as required.
- Liaise with clients to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain responsibility for Structural Engineering integrity, prepare working forecasts, identifying change management plans, and corrective action as well as real time schedules.
- Supervise (prepare) as required and assist with Structural Engineering, calculations and analyses pertaining to the project in accordance with international codes and standards.
- Perform conceptual, basis and detailed design analysis of various fixed / floating offshore structures. Analyses and calculations include, but not limited to, hull global analysis, local structural analysis, in-place analysis, transportation analysis, fatigue analysis, impact analysis, lifting and upending analyses, sea fastening calculations, basic calculations, vessel stability calculations, motion analysis, mooring analysis, etc.
- Participate in design reviews, audits, and Structural Engineering-related reviews. Evaluate and prepares concept selection reports and basis for design
- Provide mentoring, coaching and motivation to subordinates and provide training to personnel new to the structural systems analyses and design as required.

- Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Relevant professional experience with vessels, rigs, and offshore structures.
- Accustomed to leading a team in the execution of projects to a high standard on time and on budget
- Strong people and project management skills
- Able to build strong commercial relationships with clients
- Knowledge of Offshore/Structural Engineering analysis and design computer programs
- Ability to consider technical matters in their economic/business and regulatory contexts
