**Job description**:
**What you’ll do**:

- Design, build, and maintain backend services powering DeFi products and trading platforms.
- Sync, clean, and structure on-chain market data for analytics and DApp interfaces.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams for seamless integration.
- Optimize database queries and backend logic to handle high-throughput transaction volumes.
- Implement secure data handling practices to safeguard sensitive financial information.
- Write clean, modular, and efficient code following modern software engineering principles.
- Participate in code reviews and support a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Monitor, debug, and enhance system performance across backend infrastructure.
- Keep pace with innovations in fintech, blockchain, and backend technologies.

**Your skills and experience**:
**What you’ll bring**:

- Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, or Rust preferred).
- Solid understanding of scalable, cloud-native backend architecture and microservices.
- Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data pipelines.
- Understanding of financial systems or DeFi platforms and best practices in software engineering.
- Basic familiarity with Web3 technologies and blockchain infrastructure.
- Comfort working with version control, CI/CD workflows, and DevOps practices.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience with blockchain client libraries (ethers.js, web3.py, solana libraries, etc.).
- Exposure to smart contract development (Solidity, Rust).
- Prior work in fintech, DeFi, or trading systems.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
