**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the design and development of digital circuits for company products.
- Evaluate and select components based on performance, cost, and feature tradeoffs.
- Perform schematic capture and work with the design team to do component placement and Printed Circuit Board layout.
- Coordinate directly with manufacturers to develop Printed Circuit Board fabrication and assembly.
- Define and develop a hardware test plan to ensure that the hardware meets performance and functional requirements.
- Perform hardware bring up, and debugging issues.

**Experience and Skills**:

- Designing multi-layered PCBs using Altium Designer/Cadences tools/ KiCad. This includes schematic capture, layout, and CAM processing.
- Interfacing with PCBA Suppliers.
- Familiarity in working with sensors through protocols such as CAN, TCP/UDP, SPI, I2C, UART, etc.
- Experience design with microcontrollers and microprocessor as STM, ESP32, Atmel, Microchip, Allwinner
- Experience with developing firmware with C language for embedded systems is a plus.
- Development and maintenance of PCB CAD (symbols, footprint, 3D) component libraries.
- A good understanding of the particular requirements for laying out mixed signal boards with sensitive analogue, high-speed digital and high-voltage circuits.
- Experience with spacing rules for the design of high voltage PCBs, thermal management for power PCBs and techniques for managing EMI/EMC.
- Good experience in Soldering and Board Rework skills to hardware debug and test activities.
- An eagerness to work in a dynamic, rapid design, prototype, and build environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work unassisted with strong interpersonal skills and a flexible approach suitable for working in a small team.
