WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Break down requirement to develop Structural Test Case in order to test all the specific conditions and send the request to automation.
- Responsible for all aspects of testing and Quality Assurance thru the full project lifecycle (from Blueprinting through Implementation). Execute test case, test scripts to test the bug fixing,coding and features integration in order to make sure the issues get fixed and no breaking something else. This task should take from Smoke Test, Functional Test to Regression Test.
- Support SME/ US Engineers to research new methods, theories of calculation or investigate issues. Request technical issues or enhancements being said in Building Code such as TPI, ASCE, NBC that need to be improved and also offer the R&D tasks for those (If Engineering Testing)
- Manage building library to assign to the team to work as a Truss Designer from start to finish to see if any issue can be seen from user daily job (If User Based Testing)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor in Civil & Structural Engineering
- Minimum 0 - 1 years in Structural Engineering or Truss Design, Take Off or Software Testing (Freshers are Acceptable)
- English skills: equivalent to TOEIC 600 with ability to comprehend technical documents and participate in conference calls in English speaking
- Have knowledge about woodhouse structure, frame, truss and connectors Building/ Construction, Structure Analysis or Engineering Calculation. Understanding in US & CAN Building Code: TPI / TPIC, ASCE / NBC, NDS / CSA-O86 (could be trained more)
- Ability to calculate the Engineering Stuffs in a Frame, Truss or a Beam with minimum instruction
- Ability to get the information in a Drawing and compare to Structural Design Software
- Ability to execute test plan, test case, automation test case
- Maintain a collaborative approach in dealing with other Simpson Strong-Tie employees
- Enthusiastic attitude and ability to work well with employees.
- Arrive to work on time and follow instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a

timely manner.
