**What will you do?***:
The key duties of this role will include:

- Teaching Secondary Cambridge International Computer Science
- Ensuring that teaching and learning in the classroom are of a consistently high quality
- Teaching engaging and challenging lessons that promote students’ abilities to learn independently and to respond effectively to feedback
- Contributing to the Computer Science team and taking an active part in curriculum planning and preparation
- Instilling in students a love of Computer Science
- Actively contributing to a cohesive, hardworking, and happy team, with a strong collegiate culture
- Promoting and developing students’ academic, personal, and social development beyond the classroom

**Your background and experience**:
This is a certified Secondary Computer Science teaching position that requires you to have a recognised teaching qualification in Secondary Computer Science.

Please note that you must have the following qualifications to be considered:

- Bachelor or Master in Education or
- Relevant degree (minimum 3-year Bachelor degree) and a post-graduate qualification in education (PGCE, IPGCE, Teaching Now/Ready) and/or a teaching license from a national/state accreditation board)

Furthermore, we are looking for a teacher who:

- Has demonstrable experience of teaching Computer Science in a UK curriculum environment up to A-Level
- Has a strong curiosity about learning about other cultures and working with diverse people
- Has a genuine interest in the field of Computer Science from both a pedagogical and theoretical perspective
- Display an open mindset and ability to develop efficient student and parent relationships
- Shows a willingness to embrace our VAS core values
- Believes that Computer Science plays an important role in the development of students’ skills, knowledge, and understanding
- Recognises the value of learning beyond the classroom in enhancing the understanding and experience of the world in which we live
- Is a team player, with a ‘can do’ solution-focused attitude
- Possesses outstanding communication skills and personal integrity
