**The Role**

Intrepid is currently looking for a Junior Data Engineer based in Vietnam. As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be involved in building and improving Intrepid Martech, our key marketing solution for brands. You will assist with expanding, optimizing, and integrating our data from external sources into our data warehouse model. You will help manage our data pipeline architecture and contribute to improving data flow and collection for the product. Working closely with our engineering, BI, and product teams, you’ll ensure an optimal data delivery architecture. This is a great opportunity to learn from experts and contribute to turning data into valuable insights.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Assist in designing and developing crawler systems, data pipelines, and tools to scrape data from e-commerce websites, including login-required and open API data.
- Support the creation and maintenance of tools and workflows to enhance crawl/scrape analysis, reports, and data management.
- Test data from APIs and scrapes to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate closely with the team leader and follow guidelines to complete assigned tasks.

**Who we look for - the ideal profile**:

- Diligence, hard work, carefulness and communication skills with the team are required.
- Background in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Data Science.
- Basic understanding of crawlers, backend development, and Linux systems.
- Familiarity with Golang is required, Python and web scraping tools is a plus.
- Interest in reverse engineering is an advantage.
- Some experience with Linux, HTTP, HTML, Javascript, and Networking.
- Knowledge of serverless compute components (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage) is beneficial.
- Ability to learn and work on system monitoring/administration tools.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git.
- Enthusiasm for learning Agile methodology.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Passion for ecommerce and data-driven solutions is a plus.
