**Responsibilities**
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Connected Car Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Establish and promote best practices, governance frameworks, and technical standards for connected car solutions.
- Identify and explore new business opportunities, emerging technologies, and trends in connected vehicles and mobility.
- Oversee the development of advanced connected car features, including telematics, V2X communication, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and AI-driven insights.
- Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies such as IoT, edge computing, 5G, and cloud platforms to enhance connected vehicle capabilities.
- Drive innovation in areas like autonomous driving, infotainment systems, predictive maintenance, and mobility-as-a-service (MaaS).
- Create reusable frameworks, tools, and methodologies to accelerate the development and deployment of connected vehicle solutions.
- Ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration across various teams, including engineering, product management, and business units.
- Collaborate with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, technology partners, and regulatory bodies to align on industry standards and joint initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to ensure project success and seamless integration of connected car solutions.
- Engage with senior leadership to align CoE activities with organizational goals and priorities.
- Ensure all connected car solutions comply with regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, ISO 26262, and cybersecurity standards.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect vehicle data, communications, and systems against potential threats.

**Job Qualifications**
- 10+ years of experience in connected car technologies, IoT, or automotive systems.
- Proven track record in leading technology-driven innovation and managing CoE operations.
- Experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or technology firms is highly desirable.
- Expertise in connected car technologies, including telematics platforms, V2X communication, and IoT frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and edge computing technologies.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, SAE).
- Proficiency in cybersecurity best practices, encryption, and secure OTA updates.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills for identifying growth opportunities and improving operational efficiency.
- Ability to define and implement governance frameworks, processes, and best practices.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders and fostering collaboration.
- Leadership abilities to inspire and guide a high-performing team within the CoE.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and customer-centric solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent experience in leading strategic initiatives is a plus.
