**Description**

**Mission Statement**:
As PL HSE Manager you will report directly to the HUB HSE Manager Support Dry & Traction Business in meeting the HSE KPIs of the Business Units

You will work closely with regional and factory operations teams and take an active role in the decision-making process to advise and support the implementation of safety critical controls.

**Your Responsibility**:

- You will prepare the DRY & TRACTION business in line with Hitachi Energy Management system requirements
- You will be imparting Mandatory Training to DRY & TRACTION Team across the HUB
- You will be lead the Person In charge of Work training requirements in the HUB
- You will be reviewing risk assessment and Lifesaving rules compliance of DRY & TRACTION in HUB and supporting the countries
- You must manage all required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSE Management System to be compliant with ISO standards
- You will compile all NCs, prepare corrective action and follow up for closure of NCs for DRY & TRACTION Units
- You will coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses
- You will review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and recommend corrective action
- You will prepare and timely submit all MIS & reports
- You will lead and support the factories on Machine Safety Requirements and compliance. Implement the Machine Safety standards in all the HUB Factories.
- You will perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
- You will do weekly call with all the Dry & Traction Units to ensure compliance.

**Your Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical or Process Engineering (HSE education or similar experiences is desirable).
- The position requires self-initiative on preparing procedures / working with factories to make sure these procedures are well implemented
- Learn and drive the initiatives of BU on environment directly with factories with Factory Manager / Production Manager and Factory HSE
- Self-Motivation and good communication with factories to bring compliance on HSE
- Self-driven and Self-Motivation soft skills.
