Managing the Azure cloud and system
- Managing the cloud services such as VMs, databases, storages, and other cloud services
- Ensuring the performance, availability, scalability, and security
- Managing the backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Optimizing the data center cost
- Keeping up-to-date cloud technology and improving the infrastructure
- Managing access to cloud services and build automated policies around this

Security & Compliance Implementation
- Enforce RBAC, Managed Identities, and Conditional Access.
- Implement Azure Key Vault for secrets management.
- Work with Azure Policy & Security Center for compliance enforcement.
- Manage logs using Azure Sentinel and Defender for Cloud.

Architectural Decisions
- Design enterprise-grade Azure cloud architectures with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), App Services, and Serverless Functions, etc,
- Enforce infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using Terraform.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts for observability.
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Elastic Observability, Open Telemetry.
- Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks in cloud infrastructure.

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure services (VMs, App Services, Functions).
- Use Azure Load Balancers, Traffic Manager, and Front Door for high availability.

CI/CD & Automation
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Boards).
- Manage Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML-based CI/CD).
- Automate deployments using Terraform.
- Manage containerized workloads with AKS, Docker, and Helm

Incident Management & Reliability
- Implement SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices.
- Utilize Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics for proactive monitoring.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning using Azure Site Recovery (ASR)

Collaboration & Problem Solving
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps or a related role.
- 5+ years of experience working with Azure cloud services.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps (Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts).
- Proficiency in IaC (Terraform, ARM Templates)
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
- Strong scripting abilities in powershell, bash, or python.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services (AKS, App Service, Functions, SQL Database, etc,..)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, etc.).
- Proficient English communication and writing.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
