Facility & Equipment Maintenance Engineer

- To conduct repair and maintenance of public facility, like lights, lock; to inspect facility condition, find and solve problem promptly; to be responsible for solving the maintenance requirement from related department to ensure the safety of facility;
- Responsible for operations and management of air conditioning system, compressed air system, facility construction, plumbing system, LPG system and environmental system(WWT&WGT), etc.
- Responsible for operations and management of production equipment, such as Pretreatment line, powder coating line, laser cutting machine, press brake machine, welding machine, CNC etc.
- Make sure that all maintenance processes and procedures are Safe, and that all compliance programs are being met.
- Be responsible for the planning, implementation and acceptance of the new construction, reconstruction and expansion of infrastructure and equipment in the factory
- Participate in solving technical and quality issues related to equipment and facilities in the daily operation of the factory.
- To coordinate and supervise construction work from vendor, make sure the process ,quality and reliability is fully meet defined specification;
- Making preventive maintenance plan for facilities & equipment, and organize the implementation.
- Closely cooperate with purchasing department in order to select the best solution provider for VDL ETG Suzhou, such as service contacts to efficiently purchase equipment, parts, related deliveries and services.
- Collaborate with EHS Director and Head of departments on building safety, security, and emergency preparedness efforts.
- Maintain all inspection, audit, and maintenance records. File all relevant reports with the government and regulatory authorities.

**Education**:
Bachelor degree or above of mechanical/electrical / industry engineering related

Technical Profile:

- 5 years’ experience at least on facility management and equipment maintenance.
- Hand-on practice on facility construction, elec power supply/air-con/firefighting system maintenance
- Familiar with local environmental / firefighting / safety regulation
- Be good at high voltage and low voltage power distribution, water supply and drainage system, fire protection system, HVAC, pressure vessel and other facilities

Preference:
Electricity certificate/ Special equipment safety management(operation) certificate/ Fire Service Operation Certificate

Critical Competences:

- Ability to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs. Master the preventive maintenance methods of facilities and equipment, and be able to detect and solve potential faults and hidden dangers in advance based on equipment operation and maintenance experience.
- Proficient in maintenance techniques for various mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, compressors, conveying equipment, etc., able to quickly and accurately diagnose and repair equipment failures; Proficient in the maintenance of electrical equipment, including high and low voltage distribution systems, motors, electrical control cabinets, etc. Familiar with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, able to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults
- Proven project management experience, having experience in the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and renovation of large-scale facilities and equipment, able to independently undertake technical work in projects.
- Ability to justify a capital budget of construction project.
- Ability to justify a capital budget of construction project.
- Good knowledge in mechanics, electricity, HAVC, compressor (compressed air).Have ability to maintenance work according to the drawings, sketches and instructions.
- Solid in hand, strong problem-solving and analysis capability, teamwork spirit and good interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility, quick action and strong execution.

Communication Profile:
Strong verbal and written communication skills both in English and Vietnamese. Can communicate in Chinese.

Managerial Profile:
Experience with people management is preferable

- Auto CAD
