The Product & Compliance Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the company's premium standards for product quality while ensuring compliance with international quality and regulatory requirements. Acting as a critical liaison between the company's North American headquarters and global manufacturing partners, this role focuses on driving quality improvements through cross-functional collaboration and ensuring that suppliers and internal processes adhere to corporate, social, and technical standards.

**PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS & OBJECTIVES**
- Lead and establish the development and enhancement of the product compliance and safety program, ensuring full alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain a robust product compliance framework tailored to customer-specific needs.
- Ensure all products meet established quality standards through rigorous testing, inspections, and compliance checks.
- Develop category-specific compliance guidelines and refine internal processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee strategic initiatives to achieve operational excellence in compliance programs.
- Design and execute comprehensive programs that adhere to federal, state, and local compliance and safety regulations globally.
- Stay updated on furniture manufacturing technologies, materials, and production techniques to enhance product quality and foster innovation.
- Develop communication strategies to educate stakeholders on compliance and safety topics.
- Guide stakeholders through evolving regulatory landscapes by providing strategic insights and expert guidance.
- Ensure furniture products comply with industry standards, safety certifications, and customer-specific requirements.
- Conduct audits, evaluate risks, and maintain supplier standards to mitigate non-compliance issues.
- Manage supplier selection, evaluation, onboarding, and performance to align with company standards and customer expectations.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, including HIGG, EUDR, SMETA, and customer-specific action plans.
- Conduct periodic supplier visits worldwide for quality inspections, ethical audits, relationship building, and product development collaboration.
- Monitor compliance metrics and implement programs to address emerging legislative requirements.
- Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Executive team

**KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental health, chemistry, or related field preferred.
- 5 or more years of experience managing product compliance programs; retail and/or furniture industry experience preferred.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of timely results.
- Proven ability to manage regulatory compliance and interpret complex procedures and regulations.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Vietnamese is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and design principles. Familiarity with international compliance standards and regulations, including those specific to the U.S. and Canada.
- Excellent collaboration skills across various business areas.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
