YOUR ROLE

Property Services team has the responsibility to operate, maintain and enhance the buildings owned by RMIT University, oversee construction projects and ensure the provision of physical facilities services. Property Services consists of the following business units:

- Projects
- Facilities Management
- Asset Utilisation
- Business Administration

The position is responsible for supporting Manager, Operations North in the operations and management functions in the campuses’ located in Hanoi and Da Nang. This includes facilities management, project management, landlord liaison, contract services, and OHS support in Property. The Facilities Coordinator is also responsible for providing facilities arrangement to all events on campus.

KEY ACCOUNTIBILITIES

Facilities and minor works:
As first contact point to work with the Landlord to raise and resolve any issues related to facilities, maintenance, occupational health and safety at Hanoi campus.

Perform analysis for root causes of mechanical and electrical systems issue and propose solutions.

Ensure that preventive and predictive maintenance activities of MEP systems including electrical system, ventilation, air conditioning system, lightings, CCTV, and access control are appropriately performed to meet the operations’ requirements of RMIT Vietnam

Supervise external contractors in all fit-out works or projects when required and report to Manager, Operation North for technical issues or concerns.

Fitting out project management, execution and supervision during construction period at Hanoi campus.

In collaboration with Operations Coordinator to instruct the maintenance team to arrange accordingly to ensure that events are well supported.

Follow and resolve Corrective Work/ Maintenance Work Request on Archibus System

Cleaning & other service supervision:
Perform scheduled patrols through the campus regarding cleaning service area.

Coordinate additional cleaning services as required.

Liaise with the Landlord management team regarding cleaning, security of common areas and RMIT parking allocations

OHS supervision:
In collaboration with Operations Coordinator and OHS team in SGS to ensure all events are taken place in compliance with occupational health and safety, and hygiene requirement.

Supervise all activities of vendors to ensure the execution of occupational health and safety, and hygiene requirement and report all incidents to Manager, Operations North.

OUR REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s degree relevant to Construction/ Architecture or Technical or equivalent experience
Demonstrate experience in running effective maintenance of air conditioning, security camera, access control, fire alarm and fire-fighting system
At least 5 year of work experience in effectively managing facilities and services in a complex environment or the equivalent position.
Familiarity with the site visit/audit of government stake holder: fire police, labour safety, hygiene department
Demonstrated skills and abilities in working with multiple-stakeholders, managing their expectations within the allocated resources.
Previous experience in the provision of quality service and demonstrated commitment to client service principles.
Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position, as per the RMIT Behavioural Capability Framework (Connectedness, Commitment to Excellence - Improve and Simplify; Imagination and Innovation; Impact; Inclusion; Agility).
