Powder Senior Chemist

Location Long An, Long An, Vietnam In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and executing experimental work, analyzing results, and contributing to the development of innovative or enhanced product formulations. Guided by your supervisor, you will also provide technical support across multiple internal functions, ensuring effective solutions for both existing and new products. You will plan, direct and implement projects related to providing a premium level of technical service support to internal and external customers. **Key Responsibilities**: - Organize, perform and draw conclusions from lab experiments following discussion with supervisors - Ensure all experimental work is recorded in appropriate lab notebooks, databases and project reports - Work safely, following all lab procedures and contribute to the maintenance of high safety standards - Provide technical support to other internal functions especially sales and production - Contribute ideas for lab work involving new product development, existing product improvement, formula cost reduction, processes and procedural improvement - Provide technical service to customers across the entire coatings process to meet required quality online and cost targets by ensuring the performance of PPG products through problem solving and process improvements suggestions **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in chemistry/chemical engineering or a related scientific discipline - Minimum 4-6 years' work experience in a technical role within the powder, chemical or coatings industry - High collaboration skillset - Technical report writing is a must - Mandarin would be an added advantage **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** - Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process._ PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
