**Responsibilities**
- In charge of the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Architect and manage data storage solutions, including databases and data warehouses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
- Implement and enforce data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and senior data engineers.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering and data governance.
- Lead and participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to data infrastructure.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams (for Lead position)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Extensive experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with data modeling and data architecture design.
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
- Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts.
- Experience in strategic planning and project management.
